Hiya -

Tried my first marmalade sandwich today - see below!

(hitherto been a marmalade-on-toast kinda gal)

What's your favourite toast topper?

"What would you be glad you did - even if you failed?" - Brene Brown

What can a marmalade sandwich teach you?

Have you ever felt embarrassed to ask a question, or try something new, in case you look silly?

Yup, me too -

Snag is, this can block your learning,

(And stop you having fun).

Trying new things grows your brain and aids your creative problem solving -

so what has that to do with Liz and a Bear Called Paddington having tea and marmalade sandwiches?

(If you haven't seen it...it's worth a click!)

At 96, the Queen is not afraid to try something new -

- and so she continues to learn and enjoy;

(i'm guessing she picked up a bit about computer generated animation shooting this video...)

After 70 years on the job she definitely knows a bit about sustaining yourself at work...!

So why not follow her lead?

What new thing can you try this week?

And if you look a bit silly - who cares?

...Yes, I munched the whole thing just after taking this photo - YUM

Kindness is all around - the results from the World's Largest Study on Kindness are in! And its good news (phew). Three quarters of us often experience kindness from someone close us. At work 69% of us feel the biggest barrier to doing a kindness for another is that it will be misinterpreted - so don't over think it - just go for it!
